Scrum Master, Product Owner and BA roles in Canada

Toronto's banks, insurers and large enterprises run many Agile teams, often inside multi-team programs; Vancouver, Montréal, Ottawa, Calgary and Waterloo add technology, telecom and public-sector teams. Postings use titles such as Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, Product Owner, Business Analyst and Business Systems Analyst — the last is especially common in Canada, so include it in your searches.

Larger Canadian employers frequently run a scaled framework such as SAFe®, which is why postings for teams inside a bigger program often list a SAFe® certification next to hands-on Scrum experience.

If you are new to Canada, you will often be asked about Canadian or local experience. The live-project mentorship is not employment, but it gives you a recent, concrete project — backlog, sprints and stakeholder conversations — that you can walk an interviewer through in detail.

How the class times fit Canadian time zones

Batches are scheduled in India Standard Time (IST). The table converts them to Toronto (Eastern) and Vancouver (Pacific) time, including the switch to standard time in early November. In Calgary or Edmonton (Mountain), add one hour to the Vancouver time; in Halifax (Atlantic), add one hour to the Toronto time.

The morning India mentorship batch runs the evening before in Canada — an after-work slot in both Toronto and Vancouver. The evening India batch lands in the Canadian morning. Every mentorship class is recorded, and you can rejoin the next batch free.

SAFe® weekend workshops run 1:00–9:00 PM IST on Saturday and Sunday, which is overnight into the morning in Canada (3:30–11:30 AM in Toronto and 12:30–8:30 AM in Vancouver during daylight time). Check the table before you book, and message us if the timing does not work for you.

How live online classes work from Canada

Each session is live on video, with the trainer running a real JIRA board. You work on the project from your own laptop, rotate through Scrum Master and Product Owner duties in simulated sprint events, and get feedback in a small cohort of about 4–6 learners.
